In cooperation with scientists and universities, these have been researched and continuously developed for more than 15 years. PANACEO currently has research contracts with five different European universities.
In 2015, a randomized placebo-controlled double-blind study (Gold Standard Study) with adequate statistical analysis was conducted for the first time. Under the direction of Prof. Mag. DDr. Manfred Lamprecht and in cooperation with an independent laboratory of the Medical University in Graz, the positive effects of the PMA Zeolite in terms of strengthening the intestinal wall barrier and preventing a "leaky gut" in humans were scientifically proven and published in a renowned medical journal.

Sandra Eisenwagen has been Head of Research and Development at Panaceo International GmbH in Austria since 2015. She previously worked as a consultant for nutrition and consumer protection at the FAO and the European Commission. She holds a Master's degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Vienna and studied Environmental Biology at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre as part of an Erasmus programme. Her expertise includes the development of food databases, nutritional sciences, food safety and microbiology.
