When is the best time to take zeolite?
The general recommendation is to take it with a glass of water (at least 100 ml) at mealtimes.
There are three ways of taking it:
- before a meal
- with a meal
- after the meal
All three options have their advantages and disadvantages. Taking it before a meal optimises the absorption of nutrients. After the meal, it reduces the formation of oxidative stress and with the meal it is a mixture of both effects. It can directly bind harmful substances that may be present in the food.
It is not really possible to formulate a recommended intake for everyone (with, with or after meals) and is therefore at the discretion of the user.
As a general rule, it is important to ensure sufficient fluid intake when taking zeolite.
